Flight AK732, due to leave Changi at 10:00 was delayed until 11.45. The airline has given up entirely with its AK728 due to leave at 11:00 and cancelled the flight.
Tiger Airways, Singapore Airlines, Philippines Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Batavia Air, Cebu Pacific, ValueAir, Garuda, Jetstar and Royal Brunei due to take off between 10:00 and midday are all delayed, most seeing delays of at least half an hour.
For flights due to leave between midday and 14:00, the airport is showing them to be all on time, at the time of writing, several are boarding or have already left.
For the delayed flights, the issues do not appear to have been caused by delayed arrivals: the airport information service shows that almost all flights arrived on time or were early. Only one or two were late and then not by long.
Records show that widespread delays on departures continued throughout the night with delays of more than half an hour being common.
