45,000 layoffs in Malaysian manufacturing
Malaysian Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam has said that he expects as many as 45,000 factory workers to be put onto paid or unpaid leave for at least two weeks as the manufacturing slowdown hits businesses.
