Santander latest to announce large UK bank job losses
Santander, the Spanish banking group that "adopted" Bradford and Bingley's profitable savings division and recently won Alliance and Leicester to add to its Abbey business has announced that around 1,900 jobs in the UK will go as the businesses are subsumed.
