Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo hasn't won the 2010 title yet but it's beginning to look as if the only things that will prevent that happening is something untoward.

In a race that saw Ducati's Casey Stoner return to the podium for the first time in a long time, Lorenzo took full advantage of yet another pole position and stormed into a lead which he converted into a win ahead of the battling Dani Pedrosa on a Honda.
Lorenzo admitted he had been "quite lucky to finish" after his tyres went off in the last few laps and he had a moment at the chicane.
But it was Pedrosa who surprised: using softer tyres, he kept up with Lorenzo for much of the race although, eventually, he fell back into Stoner's clutches. The Australian was frustrated at not being able to pass him.
But now Lorenzo, having finished first or second in every race this season, is far ahead of his nearest rival - Pedrosa is 47 points behind.
And with no Rossi it looks as if the only real challenge Lorenzo will face for the rest of the season in his quest for his first title is bad luck or accident.
